See what people have been saying about "The Quest" and "Closer to Heaven" or Wayne's music in general.

"This is an uplifting album... Polished and professional. The messages are direct and heart-felt.
Wayne is one of the hardest working musicians I know."

    - Tyler Castleton, Songwriter & Producer

"Burton has the heart of a story-teller. While each song on the album stands alone, together they tell a moving story!"
    - Carma Wadley, Deseret News (11 May, 2001)

"Wayne's songs have their way with your heartstrings, and his music brings eternity into view."
    - John Hair, KOSY 106.5 FM Sounds of the Sabbath

"Burton's excellent follow-up to his debut album, 'The Quest' is well produced and presents a story without relying on a script...He succeeds quite nicely with this offering."
    - Dacia Blodgett-Williams, All Music Guide (www.allmusic.com)

    Additional Comments

"Hello LDS Musicians, My top 10 (songs from the group)... Not in any particular order: Wayne Burton - The Quest,
David Edwards - Ain't No Ridges, Julia Davis Allen..."

    - John Hesch, KZION Radio (www.kzion.com)

"Wayne is nice. We like Wayne! And anyone with the same name as the greatest hockey player ever is alright with me! :o)
Seriously, we slow-danced together on this track ("Sweet Mercy"). "

    - Eric and Rosanne Endres, New York

"I want to congratulate your on your great talent. I love your music... precious songs." (translated from Spanish)
    - Arnaldo Heresmann - Las Piedras de Schelem Choir, Vina Del Mar, Chile

"For those of you longing to feel the spirit whisper to your heart, listen to 'The Quest'. My heart was touched by one song after another.
My favorite though was, 'The Lord Looks On The Heart'. This album is truly a work of inspiration. I would rate this a 10 on a
scale of one to ten. Beautiful music, matched only by the inspirational words."

    - Rita Ruiz, Atlanta, GA

"Last night, Wayne Burton performed for our fireside. He was wonderful! great music, great message, great guy."
    - Marv Tauffer, West Valley City, UT

"...I don't believe I ever told you how MUCH I really LOVED the song you posted for me... It is a winner."
    - Steven Stewart - Musician, Helsinki, Finland

"...one of the things I struggle with is hoping that people will see me for who I am now, not for the person I was... perhaps, that's why this song ('The Lord Looks on the Heart') touches me so much. It expresses what I have believed for a long time. In prison, there are only two places you can look without seeing bars or razor wire. Down at the ground or up to the sky. I chose to look up."
